Did you catch the Facebook premiere of Painting the Modern Garden: Monet to Matisse based on the Royal Academy of Arts landmark exhibition, including masterpieces from Monet, Renoir, Pissaro, Sargent, and Matisse. It was a free broadcast courtesy of Exhibitions on Screen. I was fascinated to find out about Claude Monet’s gardening innovations and his pursuit of colour and nature. The film only intensified my painterly love of flowers and gardens. Why don’t you take a stroll through my watercolour garden here full of poppies, daffodils, thisles and wild blossoms. Which is your favourite?
