Who are the artists’ influencers? Who are the kindred souls that artists can identify with and feel propelled by in their artistic inquiry and expression? These are some of the curatorial questions I had in mind but the answer that Diana provided came somewhat unexpected. One of Diana’s influencers Nicoletta Tomas Caravia lives and works in Spain and her approach to painting appeals and even speaks to her in Nicoleta’s words ‘I love to depict our capacity to love, our conscientious treatment of nature. I love depicting the communion between humans, animals and plants as travel companions on this unique journey.’ But how did Diana come across Nicoleta’s work?
