Following the slow curatorial quest of finding out who inspires Diana to go to her studio every day even in these times of quarantine, I stumbled upon the kindred spirit of the fellow artist Nicoletta Tomas Caravia. I was intrigued as the quest led us to Mohammad Baghsangani – the founder of the online Rain Gallery who recently brought Nicoletta to the spotlight and to Diana’s attention through his exclusive interview with the artist. Sharing Nicoletta’s sensitivity in response to the mysteries of life and death, Diana aims to communicate through paintings, drawings and sketches her vision of a better world able to generously support all life forms. Just take a moment to explore the vibrancy of colours and the longing for underwater biodervisty radiating from Sea World pictured here – one of Diana’s work completed just before the lockdown. Consider acquiring a museum-quality print of Diana’s Sea World through the global artists-led movement #artistsupportpledge where you can also benefit from bespoke framing services now.
